Susan is in charge of developing outreach programming for the
Thermal Biology Institute. With a Master's degree in Earth Sciences from MSU, and 10 years of work experience as an Interpretive Park Ranger in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, she enjoys learning about, and sharing Yellowstone science with audiences of all ages. Susan directs programs that target K-12 learners and teachers regionally and nationally; promotes community based educational programming in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem; and works to connect scientists and resource managers working in Yellowstone’s geothermal areas. TBI outreach is expanding, with increasing participation from TBI faculty, staff, and the larger MSU community.
