Specialty is low-temperature and aqueous geochemistry with emphasis on the stable isotope systematics of elements that play key roles in biogeochemical processes. Research is primarily devoted to solving diverse problems in the ecological and environmental sciences. With the recent acquisition of an isotope ratio mass spectrometer system, a diverse suite of research opportunities is now available for study at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory.
