Recent Earthquakes in the Yellowstone Region
        
            Yellowstone is a very geologically active area which is centered around the caldera of an ancient supervolcano.  Because of this there are many
            earthquakes in the region.  Most often these quakes are small but occasionally, such as with the 
            1959 Hebgen Lake earthquake which measured 7.3 on the Richter scale, very
            large and destructive quakes can rock the region.  Quake Lake is a reminder of what such an
